[MPlayer-dvb] mplayer hangs after a few movies

hello

once again - i'm not able to get a stable playback over a long time ..

* mplayer hangs after a few files (no matter if enqueued or played separately)
always at the beginning of a file, never in a file. no error-message!

* this problem occurs on different machines with different linux-distr.
  and different mplayer-versions (from v1.0pre3 - pre6)

* the things that have been equal in all my tests are the technotrend DVB-S
card rev1.3 (only the type, not the same card) and its firmware. all PCs
have ASUS-mainboards (although i can't imagine that this could be a problem)

* i use the DVB-drivers/kernel-modules that come with the kernel. now i use
the latest kernel (from vanilla-sources) 2.6.10-150-smp

* this 'bug' can also be reproduced on a VDR, but nobody seems to know that
problem. just call a small mpeg-file often enough and mplayer hangs. i think
it's because nobody plays many videos after each other.

and that's the point - WHERE is the difference between playing some movies
'sometimes' without any problems and my case, playing more files after each
other in short intervals.

if the dvb-device could not be released in that short time, mplayer would
complain - but it doesn't.

start-command (the other options are default-options)
/usr/bin/mplayer -vo mpegpes -ao oss -framedrop -cache 4096 -nolirc
    -really-quiet file1.mpg file2.mpg file3.mpg >/dev/null 2>/dev/null

please tell me everything that comes to your mind - i tried everything that
i could think of

thx - lukas
