[Mplayer-dvb] Using Mplayer to play a AC3-File ??

Oh maybe I'm wrong but Mplayer play VOB's or MPEG Files with AC3 (aka a52) 
Track fine over the DXR3. in "-ac hwac3" mode even raw ( I can see dxr3 
switching to AC3 Data mode and NOT PCM)

i don't think that mplayer's dxr3 support can handle ac3... maybe it can.
