[Mplayer-dvb] OSD Problems while playing divx4 movies

Hello,
i use mencoder to compress the vdr files to divx with 360:288 pixels at 700kbps bitrate.
While playing the compressed Videos on some of them the OSD  is not appearing. The Progress Bar in the Middle is very important for Navigation in longer Movies.
The CPU usage is lower than 50% on the P4-Celeron at 1700MHz.
My actual Mplayer -Version ist 0.90pre8.
What is wrong ?

P.S.: Is there a plan to integrate a cut Function for Movies like the One in the vdr ?
