jep, mplayer refuses to play the clips.

you're absolutely right. i should spend some cash for a new cpu.
but this will also give me more heat and the vdr with the most power is
the one in my bedroom. i like to watch my movies in bed (:
so i have to deal with more noise. 
but hey, nothing's perfect, right ? (;
