[Mplayer-dvb] Hardware requirement for divx

Hello,

I have now a P3 at 450, two DVB-s card and a Matrox G400. I would like to
reccord in divx mode, so I plan to change some of my hardware...

Do I have to change MB/CPU to a more powerfull one or could I just buy a
new video card which has divx capabilities (I think I hear the new ATI
has such feature).
The best would be to not loose too much quality in the process...

Could someone give me some advice on it?
