[Mplayer-dvb] vdr RCU support

hi list,
does anybody using mplayer in conjunction with vdr having built the RCU
remotecontrol-receiver unit?
For now, there only exists a simple lirc support.
I would like to have support for RCU.
So the question is: 
Is there anybody on the list already implementing this?
If not, I am trying it by myself. But because of family, work and so, it
may last a average time.
