[Mplayer-dvb] Does MEncoder support PES?

Hi,

I've DVD-rips in PS-stream and DVB-recordings in PES-stream.
MPlayer plays both quite well.

But MEncoder fails when I try to encode the the PES-files.

Is there any way to make MEncoder work with PES-files?
