[Mplayer-dvb] Downscaling for slower CPU

Hi List,

I am using mencoder in conjunction with VDR to compress VDR.0xx files to
divx and want to play it again with MPlayer over DVB on my Celeron 800MHz.
After the last improvements in transcoding this works for movies with small
resolutions already, but not for movies that were transmitted with eg.
720x576. My CPU is to slow for this.
So I want to compress with -br 800 and a lower resolution. I tried already
the option -x / -y but it did not change something. What to do?

(Please not "RTMF", i did it already. Perhaps I am to stupid... )
