Sorry, i did not know that the postprocessing is already implemented in the
codecs. But if i thought a little longer about it , maybe i'd found out
myself :-)

Are you using fixed horizontal size of 720 pixels for the output ? Maybe
it's a good idea to use e.g. 512x576 if the DivX video is 512xY and get the
video stretched to the whole X size ? Okay, the aspect ratio is lost then,
but it won't be visible too much ?
Maybe better than black borders on the left&right ?

I see clearly now, that i have to buy some faster cpu these days (very soon)
