[Mplayer-dvb] High Quality Playback

Hi,

just a question ! What do you think, will it be possible to get high quality playback of divX files via the dvbs card, using current CPUs ? 
Let me get more precise:

(1) DECODING - software-decoding of divX
(2) POST-PROCESSING* - doing  the necessary post-processing to get best image quality
(3) RESIZE* - resize the image to fit to the output specs of the dvbs card
(4) ENCODE - encode to mepg1 or 2 frames

*maybe the other way around, first do the resize and then do the postprocessing, which might correct some blockiness after resizing (depends on the algorithm, i guess)


Will this be possible with nowadays CPUs ? (1.2 GHz and above)
