[Mplayer-dvb] writing output to a file

Hi,
I have tried mplayer today and video works fine. But my Maschine is to 
slow for on the fly decoding and encoding. So my question is: Is it 
posible to write the output to a file/ stdout? With netcat i could also 
use my second fast Computer for decoding.
It also seens, that in -vo  mpegpes:/dev/ost/video1 the 
"/dev/ost/video1" is ignored. ( I tried /dev/stdout ;-) )
