What are you talking about? As long as have the encryption key in the correct file and it's not BD-J it's been working since a year I think.
I would expect that the libaacs via libbluray variant also has been working.
There are also other variants that do not need ripping to disc but involve other software.
Homepage posts should at least be somewhat accurate when it comes to MPlayer features!
