It's enough for me, I just was never really aware (or forgot it again)
that there is a Makefile - I admit that I also never did more than just
move a few lines around, so I had not much reason to look for a way to
properly check the changes beforehand.
Probably I'm the only one with such a partial checkout, but otherwise a
README in src/ like "use make in the directory above this to generate
the HTML files locally" might help.
