[MPlayer-DOCS] MPlayer Interfaces!

Hi,
     This is the first time i am using MPlayer. My query is:
  1: How does MPlayer interact with kernel and drivers?
  2: How and to what is MPlayer interfaced to?
  3: Should it be interfaced to ALSA to get the audio from WM8750 Audio Codec?
