While in an ideal world it would be feasable to read the whole
documentation, maybe it would be more realistic to say:
"Please <b>always<b> the documentation to check if your problem isn't
already covered. You will probably also save yourself some time by
searching the archives of these lists".

I think that this whole paragraph is quite long, and would probaly
look better with a few linesbreaks here and there, don't you think?

Didn't you mean "Bug reports about MEncoder" here?
