The thing is, I would paraphrase "high-quality AC coefficient
prediction" as either "high-quality prediction of AC coefficients" or
"prediction of high-quality AC coefficients" (depending on context) -
the pluralization is implied by the phrasing, even though it isn't
present in the word. As I said, I'm not sure of the linguistic detail
behind it, since I haven't made an extensive studiy of the matter - but
I'm about as certain as I can reasonably be that the non-plural form is
the correct one.
