Actually, I think the original is fine.

The intent was to point out that these options, while commonly used in
mpeg4 rips, are impossible to use in mpeg[12]video. Come to think of it,
maybe it's a good idea to revisit the lavcopts stuff in the man page,
since many of the codec-specific options aren't noted as such.
