I hear you. What I'm trying to get at is a paragraph that doesn't oppose
those 3 codecs as opponents but as different possibilities to consider
when choosing a video codec.

Once again, I refuse to take sides regarding those 3, but if you want, I
can add a paragraph that emphasizes the strong and weak points of
them... The only problem I see by doing this is that I fear that it will
trigger a flame war among the zealots of each community...
... which I believe is not smth anyone wants.
