I assume MPlayer doesn't play it, right? What fourcc does it use even?
IIRC Arpi put in some nasty hack in the avi demuxer to handle the
broken vorbis-in-ogg-in-avi crap some windows kids made, which will
probably break handling of "correct" vorbis in avi... :(
