Yes, it is.  I found it better to avoid the \', though.  IIRC there
were some obscure problems.

Even then

grep "^'" * | sed /\'in/d

should quickly find all occurrences for you to fix.  A similar regexp
search in your editor should do as well.  Shouldn't take you more than
five minutes to fix by hand.
