Just the other day there was a user on #mplayer with some "Interesting" ideas
about divx and mpeg4:

<Coke> Compn: now, divx and mpeg4 are not compatible. divx has features that mpeg4 lacks.
<Coke> ShadowJK: compression algorithms are better in later versions of divx than mpeg4.

Educating users seems a bit difficult. Spreading misinformation is bad though.
