I've never heard of an American form which did not use the spelling
"practice" - verb and noun alike. Certainly I have always spelled the
noun with the C, and have come across it spelled with an S only in a
British context. I would, I think, be rather surprised if your ordinary
speaker/writer/reader of the American language spelled the two forms
differently...
