Why? Because you don't like what Marillat's doing? Tough. Deal with it.
He's free to package MPlayer in whatever (GPL-compliant, that is) way he
likes as long as he doesn't claim his packages are in any way endorsed by
MPlayer Team. I see no reason why his site shouldn't be mentioned. If he
saves Debian newbies some trouble, then I'm all for it, even though I may
not like the way he does it. Sooner or later somebody would've updated the
link, so I don't see why you're picking on Gábor (I'm hoping it's his
first name, if not, sorry).
