No, no objections.
You are really the only one in a position to really say if it works and is good for kva stuff.
The only thing I'm not entirely sure about is if setting vo_dx and vo_dy manually (e.g. in the vo_fs case) should be necessary or if it indicates some bug that you have to do that.
It seems a bit suspicious to me, but as long as it works it's fine.
