I applied a patch (r37779) to fix compilation on some system (reported
on Ubuntu LTS 14.04, and confirmed also on Debian 8) after this series.

The patch that I committed is probably a regression, since now
stream_pvr is not compiled at all on the affected systems.

Is this ok? Was the pvr stream functioning at all before these patches?
If yes, than we probably need to introduce a better configure check and
enable the extended functions only when they are available.
