Hi,
 I have no problem if you want to restore the old vdpau decoder in
MPlayer, but I don't have the resources to maintain a fork of all the
codecs involved.

If anybody can came up with a clean patch to support it (with FFmpeg
2.8 or by importing the code) that works along with the new decoder,
and he's willing to maintain it so that compilation always works with
FFmpeg git, he's welcome to do it.
