It wouldn't have been possible without your work and our discussion (and I
admit that we should have defined the behaviour of a rotary potmeter prior
to developing a patch). So please don't feel like your effort wasn't
appreciated. It is indeed very much, and it's the base for the (more general)
approach.

I'm going to make some source changes now in order to prepare it.
