You seem to have missed half the story.
Like the ridiculous complaint about being annoyed with the
maintainership when he himself has been one of the maintainers himself!
Not to mention the opposition to at least changing the web page to
point so to the new repository!
I just can't understand WTF the point was in doing it like this,
it was almost as if the idea was to try to piss on users as much
as possible.
