What if you reselect the same video in the file selector while it is running
or having it twice in the playlist or pressing play again after the video has
stopped?

Do all these three cause a crash?

And there are no problems with a second, different video (file selector,
playlist)?!

This is true, but...

...I've mixed up aspect ratio with video size. Actually, the aspect ratio
currently restarts the video.

I'd be happy the change this to "on the fly", but first I'd like to figure
out why restarting a video - which in fact isn't different to starting a
second, new one - causes a crash. (There is a X11 error in ws.c for -vo gl,
maybe that's the reason. I'll look into it.)
