I remember only 2 warnings on 10.6, so I am not sure if all those
conditions really use the correct version in the check?
Also I don't like the idea of having different code in a binary
compiled for 10.5 vs. one compiled for 10.6 if the only benefit is
avoiding a warning, that does not really seem worth it to me.
Particularly given that we most of the time do not have any proper
maintainer for the OSX code I would prefer to avoid anything that
makes it more difficult to debug/maintain (users most of the time
probably won't even know which minimum version their binary was compiled
for).
