  No objections from me neither.

  Your changes definitely look correct to me and I assume you tested
at least on OS/2.

  I tested myself on Linux and can confirm the results are as expected
and analogous to Win32 threads. Build is also successful.

  Though you still might give Diego a little time to comment. IIRC he
might want you to drop the leading underscore in the _os2threads variable
because he does not like that variable naming style. Not sure though,
so please wait for his comment before changing anything.
