Btw. I added format for both of those to -vo gl on OSX,
and it was faster.
Which means that all that OSX specific could that is
not related to creating the menu or other UI elements is
completely unnecessary and could be replaced with portable
OpenGL code.
So my long-term hope of making vo corevideo just another frontend
to the common OpenGL code in gl_common is still alive, even if
I lack time and motivation to finish it any time soon :-)
