I can commit to that. For now, that's the end of it.

What is the point? Trying to explain this objectively is an effort
I prefer to avoid and I don't think it helps to direct people to flames.
I'd rather explain people to use any FFmpeg tree they like (just run the
clone once yourself, create a mp_auto_pull to get that feature).
