Yes my chip is surround 5.1 capable, and I just plugged hearphones. That
said it also works on my laptop which I doubt supports that number of
channels (82801H iCH8 F.), but maybe I'm wrong.

But anyway, I'm going to check if I can change the number of channels
without crashing MPlayer :)
