Thanks for your description of the pts stuff ... it looks rather simple
after all. Attached you find the next iteration of the patch that feeds
packets and sets pts.
I found a video file with VBR MP3 audio ... and mplayer seems to be
rather happy with A/V sync (stabilized +-0.000) while mp3lib shows
more fluctuation around 0. But I also found a file where it's the other
way round. Well, how to you reliably test A/V sync? I guess you have
some test streams that have sharp picture changes associated with
click-type sounds?
In any case... I think we could transition from the discussion down to
more actual testing... I would like to read about some experience other
people have with the current patch;-)
