Because changing would be a total rewrite, requiring way more resources than
I currently have. If I wrote this code from scratch -- sure, I'd do that.
But currently I seem to have adopted it because nobody else wanted it, and
the path of least resistance is definitely to keep on delivering small
patches for single codecs.

Also, if I wanted to involve myself in FFmpeg work, I guess codec
reimplementation would be a lot more fun than hacking Windows loaders :-)
