OK, drv43260.dll from rp9codecs-win32-20050115.tar.bz2 works (rv40win).
I tried rv20win and rv30win from the same pack, but they don't work (same as
the ones from samples.mplayerhq.hu), while the ffmpeg versions work fine.
Still no sign of rv3040win.

FWIW, rv40win works fine with this patch.
