As far as I know, bd.videolan.org was not intended to stay closed.  I
never saw any discussion pertaining to why it was initially closed so I
don't understand the reasoning there.  The real problem is that the
project coordinator disappeared several months ago and nobody has picked
up the torch.  Anyone who is interested in the project can contact j-b
on #libbluray to obtain access to svn.  It would be great if someone
with the time an motivation would wake this project up again.
