Is there someone familiar with h264.c and its attempt in deinterlacing 
canon vixia 60i avchd interlaced frames?

from last nights lenghty session, it appears that mencoder gets a lot of 
"badframes++" errors from decoded_frame(). The video file comes directly 
from the SDHC card. The video is playable on sony vegas pro. The video 
also appears viewable with mplayer.

So far, it appears that decode_frame() is waiting for a second field to 
arrive to complete the frame. Unfortunatelty the stack frame unwinds to 
mencoder, and gets a bad frame/duplicate error(notice?)

I dont yet see how the fields ( or mislabeled frames ) are retrieved 
from the file.
