Unfortunately, there was when I tested -- without the ilpack the top row of
chroma would flicker a lot. (It should be mentioned that this was BFF
content.)

If there's any interest, I can check some day whether I can reproduce this
again in new encodes, but in the meantime something has broken with x264 vs.
GPAC later in the pipeline.
