I guess you all have PCs with a lot of memory to spare...
(not only do they not disappear - that is one of the "somewhat" hard parts
to fix - they are never freed either).
So at the end you have a full movie worth of subtitles in memory...
API change to fix that cleanly pending review on ffmpeg-devel...
