I forgot: If someone is ready to do a bit of additional effort, in particular
testing with a handful of external and embedded ASS subs and helping
out with bug reports, feel free to just update the libass files in our tree.
No need to send a patch, though only for the libass files! For changes to
libass/ass_mp.*, configure, libvo/* etc. send a patch first.
