Yes, I guess it's irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, but I've
made the change in my local tree.
Jarod was nice enough to point me to the crystalhd-development list;
I'm going to be working with them to try and sort out the fundamental
problems and then I'll post an updated patch here; it'll probably be
past the weekend, but I wanted to make clear I'm not giving up :-)
I'll also address Diego's comments too.
