does -fps 100 work instead of speed? -ao null -ac null?
i ran into -fps and mov file problems before, but now i cant reproduce.

btw are one of the quicktime or prores dlls incorrect version/md5sum in
http://samples.mplayerhq.hu/drivers32/newcodecpack/ ? let me know so we
can fix it.
