[MPlayer-dev-eng] Quicktime. Wrong search path for codecs on Linux

Could you please tell me which version of Linux and Mplayer are you running,
so that I can try to reproduce the same situation. Im running it under
Ubuntu Lucid but I had a lot of trouble compiling mplayer until I tried the
command sudo aptitude build-dep mplayer before the compilation. Im afraid I
may have done something wrong  with the configuration at compiling time.
