I have uploaded a 16 MB sample: dvb-aac-latm.m2t

If you play it with:
mplayer -mc 10 -correct-pts dvb-aac-latm.m2t

audio is out of sync (see when person stars talking a few seconds into
the movie).

If you instead do:
mplayer -mc 10 -correct-pts -ac faad dvb-aac-latm.m2t

audio is in sync.
