Which was kinda the point I was trying to make. If dvdcss was
*directly* coded into MPlayer (as in deeply integrated into its
codebase), such distros that (want to) remove it due to legal fears
will possibly not offer MPlayer at all (or have to patch MPlayer
heavily just to remove it), unlike now where they just remove the
libdvdcss dir.

Am I correct on this? My understanding of such legality is not very deep :D
