Nice, thanks for pointing out that. I'll examine the patch deeply. My 
objective was only a MPlayer capable of playing MMS sources as already 
VLC and Xine can do, and to solve the bug reported by me 5 months ago; 
nevertheless I shall try the libavformat way too, without excluding the 
current one.
