It is not a requirement to be committed, but it should be done somewhen
(and I don't think it will be hard, and it might uncover some additional
bugs).
My point was more, whatever will be there, any vo_vdpau in the release
will be very incomplete and I certainly don't want any distro to package
_that_ for the next 18 months (also because, again, the line-numbers
based error messages will make debugging real fun) - leaving it out
completely might convince some more to not use only the releases.
