The cookies changed for the old apple remote as well. Seems more like Apple
rewrote the handling code in Leopard.

The patch looks OK to me, except that it's maybe better to use the more
specific AppKit version number VLC uses (1038.13) though I wasn't able to
figure out if that's the version of a developer preview or an official
update.
